Challenge #4

Our challenge this week is related to recent world events:

Please make a project using the color RED in honor of Japan. Remember to use something from your stash you have been hoarding and please tell us in your post or project description what that item (or items) is!

As an added twist...we are going to make a donation to the Red Cross based on the number of participants we have! If we get 1-25 players, we will donate $50; 26-50 players we will donate $75 and so on up to $400! So feel free to get the word out! We would love to make a great donation on behalf of our fellow crafters. :)

Please link your creation using Mr. Linky by Friday April 1st. No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE004 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation. (Linking tips are at the bottom of the post!)

Please make sure to mention you are playing along with a Use It Tuesday challenge (a link is great too!) so we know you are participating.

One lucky participant will be chosen randomly to be a featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

Here is a little inspiration to get you started:

Siobhan updated a card she made previously for a Stamping Bella challenge, this time using more of her coveted Japanese Washi Paper and paper piecing the kimono.

Samantha used some of her hoarded Thickers! She has tons of these babies! And this gorgeous patterned paper is double sided so it is double the fun (she used both sides, both layouts are shown here!)

We can't wait to see what you create! Now go Use It!!

Tips for linking:
  • On your blog, once you publish your post, click on "View Blog". Then copy the URL and paste that into the Mr. Linky address field.
  • No blog? Easy enough! Save your creation in your online gallery. Once it has been published, click on the exact project you want linked. Once it is up in your browser, copy the URL and paste that into the Mr. Linky address field below. If you don't use any online galleries, you can use Sami's SP Gallery, registration is free and easy!
