Lucky #13: Indian Summer

Hello Users!
I must admit, this week is my absolute favorite thus far! The Design Team projects as of those of our guest designers are AMAZING...must be the lucky #13!

This week we are asking you to make a project that comes to mind when we say
"Indian Summer".
Wherever it takes you is great! Do you think of a summer heat spell? Does it remind you of a trip to India? Or maybe it brings the colors of summer to mind.

***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

Please link your creation using Inlinkz by Friday August 19th. No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE013 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation. (Linking tips are at the bottom of the post!)

Please make sure to mention you are playing along with a Use It Tuesday challenge (a link is great too!) so we know you are participating.

As always, one lucky participant will be randomly chosen to be a featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

Here is a little inspiration to get you started:

Jane said that when she thinks of Indian Summer, she thinks of warm rich colors and flowers that bloom around this time. Her stunning creation...made entirely from hoarded items! Even down to the layout!

Nancy was inspired by rich, warm colors on a fall day. Ah, we can feel it, can't you? She dug the paper from her stash and used a long forgotten stamp set to make this gorgeous card.

Sonya also made a 100% hoarded item card! From her DCWV paper, to her CM Cricut cartridge, to using the last of her ribbon off a spool, she certainly used it! Sonya picked the flip flops for the Indian Summer theme because those scream HOT DAYS to her along with the color scheme. They scream to us as well!

Dinah was totally inspired by the colors she associates with Indian Summer. She made such a gorgeous layout using her hoarded papers! The black and white photo just pops right off the page! And we love that #3 switched to an "e" in the title! Awesome effect and great use of your letters!

France was inspired to get out of her comfort zone! She combined red and orange together to make this beautiful rendition of an Indian Summer day!

Haven
dug through her stash of Creative Memories papers to make this darling page of her kids enjoying summer in the pool! Funny thing...some of her hoarded items were as old as her kids! Woo Hoo! Way to use it!

Heather chose to be inspired by the colors she thinks of as well...and guess what her hoarded item was? I'll give you a "B"...then a "R"...yes! It is a brayer! Raise your hand if yours is hoarded as well! I know mine has not rolled around in a while.

And our fabulous winner from Challenge #11, Amy, created this beauty with all hoarded items! From a new Cricut cartridge, to DCWV paper, and stamps, and ribbon, oh my! What a darling card that illustrates how many of us want to spend our lazy summer days!

Hazel was a quick worker! She created this Stunner after winning Challenge #12 on Saturday! Her inspiration came from thinking of a bit of summer in autumn. She used uninked stamps and paired these gorgeous yellows and oranges...**love**!

Thank you Amy and Hazel for doing an AMAZING job on this challenge as Guest Designers!!

We can't wait to see what you create! Now go Use It!!
