Challenge #53: Sticky Situation!

Happy Tuesday, Users!

This week, we`re getting sticky. Our challenge is called "Sticky Situation" and we want you to dig out those hoarded things that stick....stickers, embossing, rub-ons, glue-dots, glue sticks, etc.

***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

We're looking to see your fabulous entries on our Use It Tuesday site using Inlinkz by noon EST on Friday April 19, 2013. No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE053 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation. (Linking tips are at the bottom of the post!)

Please make sure to mention you are playing along with a Use It Tuesday challenge (a link is great too!) so we know you are participating.

As always, one lucky participant will be randomly chosen to be a featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

There`s lots of variety in our DT projects this week. Let`s see what everyone stuck to their projects this week:

Heather bought these flower embellishments almost 4 years ago and just never found the right project for them. She pairs them with a rub-on sentiment that's also several years old.

Danielle shares a page from her art journal with us. She finds rub-ons perfect for journaling and included alphas, flowers, stitches and work memory rub-ons on this bright page. Most of those rub-ons have been in her stash for almost a decade!

Stacey stuck with the stickers. Everything white on this card is a sticker from Making Memories that has been in her stash for at least 5 years...and the package had been NEVER opened!

Tracy  found this trio of koala's in her stash, just hanging around and waiting for this perfect picture. She also found these older patterned papers and coordinating embellishments in her stash. So adorable!

Nicole created this beauty using only scraps in her stash...the card base, doily die, ribbon...everything! She got sticky with this sentiment sticker, raised from the back of the card with foam risers. Want a neat Nicole tip...put powder on the back of your raised sticker to reduce the stickiness and keep the dimension of the raised sentiment during mailing.

Stephanie taught some of us a new word with this challenge....GLUBBERS! These large glue-dot like objects are great to turn some old ribbon (3 years in this case) into a beautiful rosette to adorn the card. The alphas on her project are also stash finds from about 4 years ago.

Sherri used some Crate Paper stickers that are at least 2 years old for her gorgeous layout, as well as a clip from when she first began scrapping with more than just stickers (about 5 years ago).

Tammy found some rub-ons to stick onto her project, but also found some glubbers in her room and opened them for this project. And, the paper represents the last of her MME All Spice paper pack.

What will you stick to your project? Go Use It!!
